Welcome to a FOREST of family trees!

Royalty in the Yamato Court Nara Canberra Sister Cities.

Some communities know a great deal about their roots; others know very little. This site is an attempt to record what I've learned about family histories of CANBERRA PIONEERS. In these modern times, descendents of these families tend to be scattered all over Australia, if not the world. One of the goals of this web site is to help our families feel and share their common heritage.

On this page I'll provide a little information about who I am and what inspired me to do this research. Most of this information was probably obtained from talking to living relatives and from researching public records particularly at HAGSOC and the NLA. In the course of doing this research, I've discovered and been able to contact many more relations than I ever thought possible!

This work in progress can only become richer as it grows, so please contact me and use the GUEST BOOK as a switchboard to share any information that might correct or round out the picture.
